Social Media Marketing Executive

Peacock Design Solutions is a creative digital agency specializing in Website Design, Web Development, Branding, UI/UX Design, Mobile Applications, eCommerce Solutions and Digital Marketing. We are expanding our Digital Marketing division and are looking for a Social Media Marketing Executive who can own client social channels end to end — from the content calendar to the ad account to the monthly report.

You will work across a mixed client portfolio: local service businesses, educational institutions, product brands and B2B firms. Each needs a different voice and a different platform mix, so this suits someone who enjoys variety rather than running one brand forever.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Build and maintain monthly content calendars for multiple client accounts.
- Write post copy, captions and hooks suited to each platform and audience.
- Brief our design and video team, then review creatives before they go live.
- Schedule and publish across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and X.
- Plan and produce short-form video — Reels, Shorts and Stories.
- Set up, run and optimise paid campaigns on Meta Ads Manager and LinkedIn Ads.
- Manage budgets, audiences, A/B tests and creative rotation to control cost per result.
- Handle community management — comments, DMs and reviews within agreed response times.
- Run influencer and collaboration outreach where a campaign calls for it.
- Track performance in Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics and Google Analytics 4.
- Prepare monthly reports that explain results in plain language, not screenshots.
- Research competitors, formats and trends, and turn them into ideas the client can use.
- Coordinate with the SEO, design and web teams so campaigns and landing pages match.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience running business accounts on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Practical experience with Meta Ads Manager — campaign structure, audiences, budgets and reporting.




- Confident content writing in English; ability to adapt tone across brands.
- Working knowledge of Canva or Adobe Express for quick edits and mock-ups.
- Comfortable planning and editing short-form video for Reels and Shorts.
- Experience with a scheduling tool such as Meta Business Suite, Buffer or Hootsuite.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 and UTM tracking.
- Understanding of platform policies, ad review and community guidelines.
- Strong organisation — you will juggle several calendars and deadlines at once.
- Explicit written and verbal communication with clients and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- 2–4 years of hands-on social media marketing experience, agency side preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media or a related field (preferred, not mandatory).
- Meta Blueprint or Google Analytics certification is an added advantage.
- Ability to write or review content in Tamil alongside English.
- Basic video editing in CapCut, Premiere Pro or After Effects.
- Exposure to eCommerce social selling or lead-generation campaigns.

What We're Looking For We value real results over follower counts. A page that grew from 800 to 12,000 followers with no enquiries is less interesting to us than a campaign that brought a client 40 qualified leads at a cost you can defend.
