Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AS400 (IBM iSeries) skilled responsible for development, maintenance, administration, and production support of business-critical applications hosted on the IBM i platform. The individual will provide end-to-end support, troubleshoot incidents, implement enhancements, and ensure platform stability, security, and performance.\\r\\n\\r\\nKey Responsibilities\\r\\nApplication Development & Support\\r\\nDevelop and maintain applications using RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, CLLE, COBOL, and DB2/400.\\r\\nAnalyze business requirements and implement application enhancements.\\r\\nPerform code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.\\r\\nSupport batch processing, job scheduling, and interface monitoring.\\r\\nInvestigate and resolve production incidents and service requests.\\r\\nAS400 Administration\\r\\nManage IBM i (AS400) environments and system operations.\\r\\nMonitor system performance, storage utilization, and jobs.\\r\\nAdminister user profiles, authorities, menus, and security controls.\\r\\nHandle backups, restores, and disaster recovery activities.\\r\\nSupport OS upgrades, PTF installations, and system maintenance.\\r\\nIncident & Problem Management\\r\\nParticipate in 24x7 production support activities.\\r\\nAnalyze recurring issues and implement permanent fixes.\\r\\nPerform root cause analysis (RCA) for critical incidents.\\r\\nEnsure SLA compliance for incident resolution and service delivery.\\r\\nDatabase Management\\r\\nManage DB2/400 databases and optimize query performance.\\r\\nSupport database maintenance, data integrity, and troubleshooting.\\r\\nDevelop complex SQL queries,

Key Responsibilities

SQLRPGLE, CLLE, COBOL, and DB2/400. Analyze business requirements and implement application enhancements. Perform code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities. Support batch processing, job scheduling, and interface monitoring. Investigate and resolve production incidents and service requests. AS400 Administration Manage IBM i (AS400) environments and system operations. Monitor system performance, storage utilization, and jobs. Administer user profiles, authorities, menus, and security controls. Handle backups, restores, and disaster recovery activities. Support OS upgrades, PTF installations, and system maintenance. Incident & Problem Management Participate in 24x7 production support activities. Analyze recurring issues and implement permanent fixes. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for critical incidents. Ensure SLA compliance for incident resolution and service delivery. Database Management Manage DB2/400 databases and optimize query performance. Support database maintenance, data integrity, and troubleshooting. Develop complex SQL queries, procedures, and reports. Stakeholder Management Coordinate with business users, project managers, and technical teams. Provide status updates, effort estimates, and technical documentation. Support audits, compliance requirements, and change management processes.
