Job Summary

Nowvia is looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITAM Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, with strong expertise in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and related ServiceNow modules. The candidate should be comfortable working with stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions, developing and configuring ServiceNow applications, and supporting ITAM implementations and enhancements.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow ITAM solutions based on business requirements.
- Work extensively with ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes and applications.
- Develop and maintain workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, script includes, and REST/SOAP integrations.
- Configure and enhance Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) capabilities.
- Work with asset lifecycle management, inventory, procurement, contracts, and asset reconciliation processes.
- Integrate ServiceNow ITAM with third-party systems and enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow ITAM implementations.
- Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Follow ServiceNow development best practices and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
- Collaborate with business analysts, administrators, architects, and other technical teams.
- Support upgrades, enhancements, performance improvements,



and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

- 4+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development.
- Strong experience in ServiceNow ITAM.
- Hands-on experience with HAM and/or SAM.
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
- Experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Workflows/Flow Designer, and ACLs.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Good understanding of ServiceNow CMDB and Configuration Items.
- Experience with ServiceNow data imports, transform maps, and data management.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Certification – Mandatory

- Candidates must hold a valid ServiceNow certification relevant to the role, such as:
- Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Relevant ServiceNow ITAM/HAM/SAM certification or implementation credential
- ServiceNow certification is mandatory for this position.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro / HAM Pro.
- Knowledge of Software Asset Management and software licensing models.
- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Graph.
- Experience with CMDB and ITOM integrations.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- ServiceNow implementation or upgrade experience.
