Senior SQL & Azure Data, Reports Developer / Data Migration Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on SQL and Azure Data Developer to lead data quality and migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with the Microsoft data stack, Azure services, integrations, reporting, and AI-assisted development.

Primary Responsibilities

- Design and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and data models.
- Lead data migration initiatives across CRM, legacy, and other business systems.
- Perform data profiling, cleansing, deduplication, transformation, reconciliation, and validation.
- Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
- Develop integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, APIs, and related Azure services.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data mappings, transformation rules, and validation criteria.
- Use AI tools to improve data mapping, cleansing, development, testing, and validation.
- Troubleshoot SQL performance, data integrity, migration, and integration issues.
- Support reporting and analytics using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
- Take ownership of data workstreams from planning through implementation.

Required Skills and Experience





- Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Proven experience leading complex data migration and data quality initiatives.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL, APIs, and cloud-based integrations.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience working with large datasets and performing data reconciliation.
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate development and data processes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Platform, Azure Functions, or Dataverse.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with clients and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Data warehouse experience, including dimensional modeling and star or snowflake schemas.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Salesforce, or association management systems.
- Familiarity with master data management, data governance, and data-quality frameworks.
- Knowledge of Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
- Consulting or client-facing experience.

Hours and Commitment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

Pay: ₹1,600.00 - ₹2,400.00 per hour
