PURPOSE OF ROLE:

The Senior Software Engineer - SAP Data Integration will support all functional areas of our growing, global business which runs SAP’s Fashion Management Solution.



This role is responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and enhancing enterprise data integration, migration, and replication solutions using SAP Data Services (BODS) as the primary platform, along with SAP replication and integration technologies such as SLT, SAP Datasphere, Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP Integration Suite, and SAP PI/PO.

Reporting Structure: You will report directly to a manager employed by Under Armour Global Services Pvt. Ltd. in India.

YOUR IMPACT (Job Responsibilities):

- Serve as a subject matter expert in SAP Data Services (BODS), leading end-to-end data integration and migration solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy data integration solutions between SAP and third-party applications.
- Lead technical design discussions and translate business requirements into data integration solutions.
- Design and develop complex BODS jobs, workflows, dataflows, and transformation logic.
- Collaborate with functional analysts, architects, development teams, and external partners.
- Drive resolution of complex production and data integration issues.
- Participate in project planning, effort estimation, and technical solution reviews.
- Support SAP transformation and modernization initiatives including S/4HANA programs.
- Collaborate with SAP Integration Suite and SAP PI/PO teams to support end-to-end business processes where integration and data flows intersect.
- Support data replication and provisioning using SLT, SAP Datasphere, and Business Data Cloud (BDC).
- Develop and maintain interface documentation, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
- Work with external consultants and vendors to deliver data integration solutions.
- Support governance, security, monitoring, and best practices for data integration development.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to enterprise data integration standards.
- Provide Level 3 support and lead root cause analysis activities.
- Participate in on-call and production support activities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:





- Bachelor's degree with typically 5 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with typically 3 years of relevant experience or typically 9 years of relevant work experience without degree.
- Expert, hands-on, end-to-end experience with SAP Data Services (BODS) development and support.
- Experience in multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations.
- Strong expertise in ETL/ELT design, data mapping, transformation, data quality, and reconciliation.
- Experience with source-to-target mapping, batch scheduling, and performance optimization in BODS.
- Working knowledge of SAP Integration Suite and SAP PI/PO sufficient to collaborate with integration teams and support cross-platform data flow issues
- Working knowledge of SAP replication and data platform technologies such as SLT, SAP Datasphere, and Business Data Cloud (BDC).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with SAP Fashion Management Solution (FMS), AFS, or S/4 Fashion
- Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA migration or transformation programs.
- Exposure to SAP CPI/iFlows and API Management is a plus.
- Previous mentoring or technical leadership experience, is preferred
- Experience supporting global SAP environments, is preferred

WORKPLACE LOCATION:

Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our office.

Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week.
