About the Role

QA Engineer – Manual & Automation Testing

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 7-10 Years

Work Mode: 5 Days Work from Office

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer / Test Engineer with strong experience in Functional Testing, API Testing, Automation Testing, and Performance Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience testing microservices-based applications, good understanding of JMS/messaging concepts, and strong knowledge of databases and SQL.





The role requires someone comfortable working across both manual and automated testing within an Agile/Scrum setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of applications.
- Test REST APIs and microservices, validating functionality, integrations, request/response flows, and data.
- Work with JMS/message-based integrations and validate application communication between services.
- Develop and maintain test automation using Cypress and/or REST Assured.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Insomnia.
- Conduct performance/load testing using Gatling.
- Perform backend/data validation using SQL queries and databases.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects using Jira.
- Maintain test cases, test documentation, and project knowledge in Confluence.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
