Instrumentation Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Select/specify field instruments and control valves; develop loop wiring and installation details.
- Support cable tray routing, cabinet layouts, and commissioning.
Minimum Qualifications
- Tools: SPI/Intools or equivalent; AutoCAD/EPLAN; knowledge of industrial protocols.
- Understanding of hazardous areas and installation practices.
Preferred Attributes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with SIS lifecycle concepts.
- Experience with COMOS is an added advantage.
Control System Engineer
- No of Positions: 2
- Experience: 8 years
- Degree: Bachelor's in Instrumentation & Control Engineering
- Location: Pune | Employment Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement DCS/PLC-based control and safety systems, networks, and LV control panels.
- Develop control narratives, cause & effect matrices, and interlock logic.
- Engineer cabinet designs and I/O allocations; review loop drawings and wiring schemes.
- Configure/commission control systems; lead FAT/SAT and troubleshoot network/hardware issues.
- Implement alarm rationalization and basic performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with process engineers to translate design bases into control logic.
- Document configurations, backups, and change management for maintainability.
Minimum Qualifications
- Hands-on with modern DCS/PLC platforms (e.g., PCS 7/DeltaV/ControlLogix) and SCADA/HMI.
- Working knowledge of industrial Ethernet, cybersecurity hardening basics, and time-sync.
- Ability to read P&IDs; and develop control narratives from process intent.
Preferred Attributes
- Clear communication and cross-discipline coordination skills.
- Experience with COMOS is an added advantage.
Additional Key Responsibilities
1. To oversee quality assurance processes, ensuring adherence to coding standards, implementation of best practices and participate in technical discussions/review.
2. To create work plans, monitor and track the work schedule for on-time delivery as per the defined quality standards.
3. To identify potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or quality and accordingly develop mitigation strategies/contingency plans to address risks.
4. To lead and empower a dynamic development team by boosting their technical skills, improving productivity, and fostering a team-oriented high-performance culture.
