The Innovation team is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Development, for the Firm's Innovation Department, based out of our Bangalore office. This is a technology leadership role accountable for the engineering organization that builds, maintains, supports, and automates the Firm's portfolio of custom products and solutions.

The Senior

Manager owns execution of engineering strategy, delivery, and run-state health across that portfolio, and partners with product management and Firm leadership to ensure technical direction is inseparable from business outcomes.

This role operates with authority over engineering priorities, release cadence, platform standards, and team capacity, and with a mandate to raise the quality, reliability, and consistency of engineering practice across product teams. The Senior Manager serves as the people leader for engineers, automation developers, and technical leads — coaching them, setting the technical bar, and holding accountability for what the team ships and for how well it runs once it is live.

How You’ll Spend Your Time:

Technology Vision and Engineering Strategy

· Craft and communicate an inspirational technical vision for the product portfolio, articulating clearly how individual products, platforms, and services come together into one coherent engineering estate.

· Partner proactively with Firm leaders to define and evolve the end-state architecture, ensuring solutions are secure, resilient, performant, and scalable.

· Translate the portfolio vision into a 18-to-24-month engineering roadmap, clearly mapped to business outcomes, value creation, and technical risk reduction.

· Drive the platform and data architecture roadmap, eliminating non-strategic connections, brittle integrations, and manual batch handoffs.

· Model adaptability by continuously evolving the technology stack in response to industry trends, emerging platforms, new insights,



and shifting business needs — challenging current thinking, testing theories, and iterating rapidly.

Product Development and Delivery

· Lead the engineering team in designing, building, testing, and deploying new products and solutions across cloud-native, AI, and automation technologies, including Microsoft Azure, the Power Platform, and modern AI services.

· Partner with product management on prototyping and MVP development, providing technical subject matter expertise and ensuring proposed solutions are buildable, supportable, and aligned to practice requirements.

· Use a hypothesis-based approach to design solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure value-focused execution rather than technology for its own sake.

· Rapidly deliver results on high-pressure initiatives, pivoting quickly as business needs shift, and bringing order to disparate requirements through strong problem solving and stakeholder engagement.

· Ensure teams consistently apply design thinking, systems thinking, and agile engineering practices across the full product lifecycle, from discovery through release and into run state.

· Own release planning and the commitments the engineering team makes, translating business and product requirements into technical requirements, sprint plans, and a prioritized backlog.

· Own the health of products already in production — availability, performance, security posture, technical debt, and the support experience — with clear service levels and a support model the business can rely on.

· Proactively plan, communicate, and execute the decommissioning or sunsetting of underperforming products, features, or legacy components, including user impact assessments, migration paths, and viable alternatives.

· Set the automation agenda for the Innovation team — identifying where intelligent automation, RPA, and AI-enabled services and leading the team that builds them.

· Develop novel solutions using modern platforms such as Azure, languages such as C#, Python, and SQL, orchestration tools such as Data Factory and Databricks, and visualization tools such as Power BI.

· Evaluate emerging AI capabilities with judgment, separating what is genuinely useful to the Firm from what is not, and define how those capabilities are adopted safely and responsibly.

· Nurture, develop, and coach engineers and technical leads by setting clear expectations, identifying growth opportunities, and driving measurable development and performance outcomes.

· Build and sustain a high-performing India-based engineering organization, owning hiring,



onboarding, retention, and succession for critical technical roles.

· Define and monitor engineering KPIs — delivery predictability, quality, cycle time, incident volume, and support responsiveness — and use that data to coach teams to adjust, refine, or pivot as performance dictates.

Requirements

· Required Education Level: Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.

· Required Years of Experience: 14 or more years in software engineering, product development, or platform engineering, including a minimum of 8 years leading engineering teams as a manager or head of engineering.

· Proven record of taking products from concept through launch and then owning them in production, with accountability for both delivery and ongoing service quality.

· Deep hands-on background in cloud-native application development on Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions, API Management, Logic Apps, App Service, Key Vault, Data Factory, and Azure DevOps.

· Extensive experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and with intelligent automation or RPA platforms such as UiPath.

· Strong engineering fundamentals across the stack and the full SDLC: programming languages such as C#.NET, Python, or JavaScript frameworks including ReactJS; RESTful API integration; and databases including SQL Server, Dataverse, and Cosmos DB.

· Experience architecting and scaling data platforms, warehouses, and pipelines, with advanced SQL knowledge and familiarity with data modeling, integration patterns, and real-time streaming.

· Demonstrated experience with modern software development methodologies such as Agile and Scaled Agile, with one or more relevant certifications a plus.

· Significant experience defining and implementing engineering performance metrics, service levels, and KPI dashboards.

· Exceptional executive presence, with proven ability to advocate technical direction to both technology and business audiences and to communicate effectively with senior executive stakeholders.

· Strong collaboration capabilities, with proven expertise in driving alignment across diverse business and technology stakeholders and across geographies.

· Solid organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and communications simultaneously and to adapt to shifting needs and priorities.

· A quick learner with excellent attention to detail, sound time management, and a demonstrated willingness to explore new techniques beyond day-to-day duties.
