Primary Skillsets

Key Responsibilities F5 BIG-IP / Load Balancing

- Administer, configure, and troubleshoot F5 BIG-IP LTM.
- Manage Virtual Servers, Pools, Pool Members, Health Monitors, Profiles, Persistence, and SNAT.
- Troubleshoot L4/L7 load-balancing, application connectivity, and traffic-flow issues.
- Perform F5 configuration changes, health checks, backups, and operational activities as per approved procedures.

Azure Networking

- Support implementation and operational management of new Azure services.
- Configure and troubleshoot Azure networking, routing, DNS, firewall, and connectivity requirements.
- Support Azure-to-on-premises connectivity and service onboarding.
- Validate end-to-end connectivity and coordinate with Cloud, Security, and Application teams.

WAF – Added Advantage

- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Web Application Firewall (WAF) concepts.
- Experience with F5 Advanced WAF/ASM or equivalent WAF technologies is preferred.
- Troubleshoot WAF-related application access and security policy issues.

Service Routing & Customer Network Access

- Configure and troubleshoot service routing and customer-specific network connectivity.
- Troubleshoot routing, reachability, asymmetric routing, and traffic-flow issues.
- Validate connectivity between customer networks and hosted services.





IPsec & BGP VPN

- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot site-to-site IPsec VPN tunnels.
- Troubleshoot IKE Phase 1/Phase 2, encryption, PFS, NAT-T, and tunnel stability issues.
- Troubleshoot BGP VPN connectivity, neighbour relationships, route advertisements, and route propagation.

Incident & Operations Support

- Respond to incidents and alerts within defined SLAs.
- Perform troubleshooting, impact assessment, and root-cause analysis.
- Execute operational tasks in accordance with Client-approved SOPs.
- Perform approved changes, health checks, and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with internal, customer, cloud, application, and vendor teams.
- Maintain accurate incident and operational documentation.

Required Experience

- Strong hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM.
- Good experience with Microsoft Azure Networking.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, DNS, NAT, and network troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of IPsec VPN and BGP.
- Experience in enterprise infrastructure operations and SLA-based support.
- Experience working in a 16×5 operations setting is preferred.
