Job Title: Senior Flutter Developer

Experience: 6-8 Years

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Flutter Developer with 6-8 years of overall mobile application development experience and strong expertise in building location-based applications using Flutter. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience integrating map services, geolocation features, real-time tracking, and scalable mobile architectures.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
- Develop and implement advanced map-based features using Google Maps, Mapbox, HERE Maps, or similar mapping platforms.
- Integrate location services including GPS tracking, geofencing, route optimization, navigation, and real-time vehicle/user tracking.
- Build reusable widgets, components, and libraries for future use.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, Backend Developers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality applications.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, and third-party SDKs.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and battery consumption for location-heavy applications.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to best engineering practices.

Required Skills & Experience

- 6-8 years of software development experience with at least 4+ years of hands-on Flutter development.




- Solid proficiency in Dart programming.
- Experience with state management solutions such as Bloc, Riverpod, Provider, GetX, or similar.
- Extensive experience integrating:
- Google Maps SDK
- Mapbox SDK
- Geolocation and GPS services
- Geocoding & Reverse Geocoding
- Route planning and navigation APIs
- Real-time location tracking
- Geofencing solutions

- Strong understanding of mobile app architecture patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Repository Pattern.
- Experience consuming REST APIs and handling JSON data.
- Familiarity with Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore, Analytics, Push Notifications).
- Experience with offline maps and caching strategies is a plus.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, etc.).
- Strong understanding of mobile security best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience building mobility, logistics, ride-sharing, fleet management, delivery, or GIS-based applications.
- Experience with WebSocket implementation for real-time updates.
- Knowledge of native Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift) development.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience publishing apps to Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Mapbox Navigation SDK.
- GIS concepts and spatial data visualization.
- Background in IoT-connected or asset-tracking solutions.
- Unit testing, widget testing, and integration testing in Flutter.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
