About the Role :

As a Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate packing material (PM) and production planning while maintaining optimum inventory levels to support production and sales forecast requirements (RSF). The role involves creating PM requirement plans based on MRP outputs, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders for planning consensus, coordinating with procurement and supply chain teams, and ensuring uninterrupted availability of primary packing materials for seamless production operations.

Role & responsibilities :

1. Plan Packing materials for all Domestic and Export SKUs
2. Generate rolling production plans for a 3-month horizon based on Rolling Sales Forecast (RSF)
3. Prepare and maintain daily PM coverage trackers with a focus on monitoring delivery delays of primary packing materials.
4. Track daily production plan compliance and highlight deviations
5. Monitor packing material availability across plants against committed delivery dates and production requirements.
6. Coordinate with Key Account Managers (KAMs),



plant planners, vendors, procurement teams and supply chain stakeholders to resolve material availability challenges
7. Maintain planning data for promotional activities and New Product Development (NPD) initiatives to avoid excess procurement and inventory buildup
8. Ensure timely execution and alignment of PM purchase orders through close collaboration with vendors and procurement teams
9. Support inventory optimization initiatives while maintaining service levels and production continuity.

Preferred candidate profile

- Experience in Material Planning, Production Planning, or Supply Planning, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Hands-on experience with SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel
- Solid analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive planning decisions.
