Role Description The Script Writer at ORN Journeys will craft engaging scripts that highlight the brand’s travel experiences, customer journeys, and operational stories across various media formats. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing concepts, writing and refining scripts, collaborating with video production and marketing teams, and adapting content for different platforms such as promotional videos, social media, and internal communications. The role involves research into destinations, traveler personas, and ORN’s integrated travel model to ensure scripts are accurate, compelling, and aligned with brand voice.

The Script

Writer will participate in storyboarding, provide creative input during filming, and revise scripts based on feedback and performance metrics. This is an on-site role based in Siliguri.

Qualifications

- Strong scriptwriting and scripting skills for short- and long-form content.




- Experience creating screenplays or structured narrative content for visual media.
- Knowledge of video production processes and the ability to collaborate with production teams.
- Excellent writing skills, including explicit storytelling, structure, and tone adaptation.
- Attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to translate complex travel operations into engaging, understandable stories.
- Comfort working on-site in a collaborative, cross-functional environment in Siliguri.
- Relevant educational background in Film, Media Studies, Communications, Creative Writing, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in travel, media, advertising, or content creation is an advantage.
