We are seeking an experienced SCCM/MECM OS Deployment Engineer responsible for designing, maintaining, and improving enterprise Windows deployment solutions. The role will focus on task sequence development, Windows image management, automation, troubleshooting, and supporting OS and hardware lifecycle initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain SCCM/MECM task sequences for Windows 10/11 operating system deployments.
- Create, maintain, and optimize standard Windows WIM images, incorporating OS patches, applications, configurations, and security requirements.
- Customize and validate deployment solutions for different hardware models, departments, and user profiles.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation solutions to streamline imaging, deployment, driver management, and BIOS/UEFI configuration.
- Integrate and manage drivers, applications, scripts, and hardware-specific configurations within task sequences.
- Investigate and resolve OS deployment failures, task sequence issues, imaging inconsistencies, and hardware compatibility problems.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for deployment-related incidents in collaboration with Service Desk and field support teams.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation covering task sequences, imaging processes, deployment standards, and troubleshooting procedures.




- Collaborate with Global IT Infrastructure, IT Security & Compliance, application packaging teams, and third-party service providers to align deployment strategies with business and technical requirements.
- Support OS migrations and technology lifecycle initiatives, including the adoption of current Windows versions, hardware refreshes, Intune/co-management, and modern deployment approaches.

Requirements – Must Have

- Strong experience with Microsoft SCCM/MECM, particularly Operating System Deployment (OSD).
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills and experience troubleshooting task sequences.
- Hands-on experience with WIM image creation, management, and customization.
- Knowledge of BIOS/UEFI configuration, driver injection, and hardware compatibility.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent technical documentation skills.
- Understanding of enterprise Windows deployment and infrastructure environments.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Microsoft Intune and co-management scenarios.
- Familiarity with Windows ADK, WinPE, and MDT.
- Experience with zero-touch or light-touch deployment models.
- Knowledge of enterprise desktop standards and security hardening practices.
