Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Batala, responsible for driving sales growth and building a strong customer base for Axis Max Life Insurance. This role involves leading and mentoring a team of sales professionals, setting sales targets, and monitoring performance to ensure business objectives are met.

The Sales

Manager will develop and implement local sales strategies, conduct regular market outreach, and build relationships with customers and channel partners to promote life insurance products. Daily activities include meeting prospective clients, providing needs-based financial and insurance advice, conducting presentations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role also includes reporting on sales activities,



forecasting, and collaborating with internal teams to improve customer experience and product positioning.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in life insurance, financial services, or related sectors.
- Strong skills in customer relationship management, client servicing, and consultative selling.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, motivate, and manage a sales team to achieve targets.
- Competence in planning, territory management, and using data or reports to track performance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial products clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in insurance or financial planning are an advantage.
- Understanding of life insurance products, regulatory guidelines, and basic financial planning concepts.
- Comfort with using CRM systems and standard office productivity tools for reporting and customer management.
- Ability to work on-site in Amritsar, travel within the local region as needed, and adapt to a target-driven environment.
