Please Note: This is a Recruitment Executive / Junior Consultant role specifically within the Healthcare Recruitment domain, focused on Middle Eastern countries.
Candidates with experience exclusively in US Healthcare, US Healthcare Staffing, or Healthcare Insurance recruitment are advised not to apply, as their experience may not be relevant to the requirements of this position.
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and highly driven Healthcare Recruiter with strong hands-on experience in nurse recruitment. The ideal candidate should be capable of sourcing, screening, engaging and progressing nursing professionals through the recruitment lifecycle while simultaneously building a strong long-term talent pipeline.
This role is not limited to filling current vacancies. The recruiter will help build and maintain a structured database of qualified nurses, understand their clinical experience and career preferences, and match them with domestic and international opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for nursing professionals, from sourcing and initial screening through interview coordination, offer, documentation and onboarding/mobilisation.
· Source nurses through Naukri, LinkedIn, job portals, professional networks, databases, referrals, social media and direct sourcing.
· Build, maintain and continuously expand a structured pipeline of qualified nursing professionals for current and future requirements.
· Develop talent pools across general and specialised nursing categories, including ICU/Critical Care, Neuro-Critical Care, Neuro-Rehabilitation, Stroke Rehabilitation, Geriatric Nursing, Dementia Care, Palliative Care, Long-Term Care and Trauma Rehabilitation.
· Identify and engage both active and passive nursing candidates and maintain professional relationships with candidates over the longer term.
· Screen candidates based on qualification, registration, clinical experience, specialisation, skills, availability, location, country preference and employer requirements.
· Translate healthcare staffing requirements into focused sourcing strategies.
· Handle multiple vacancies and recruitment priorities simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy.
· Support domestic and international nurse recruitment requirements, including opportunities in Middle Eastern markets.
· Coordinate candidate interviews, assessments, documentation and subsequent recruitment stages.
· Maintain regular communication and follow-up through sourcing, screening, interview, offer, documentation and mobilisation stages.
· Ensure timely submission of qualified and relevant candidates against open positions.
· Maintain accurate candidate records, recruitment trackers, talent-pool data and recruitment reports.
· Build and maintain a professional network within the nursing and healthcare community.
· Work closely with internal stakeholders and business development teams to understand manpower requirements, priorities and candidate specifications.
· Support targeted nurse sourcing campaigns and talent-pool initiatives.
· Track recruitment targets, turnaround times, candidate conversion, interview progress, offers, joining and dropouts.
· Stay updated on nursing talent availability, recruitment trends, healthcare hiring practices and relevant international recruitment requirements.
Mandatory Requirements:
· 1–3 years of relevant experience in Healthcare Recruitment, Healthcare Staffing or Nursing Talent Acquisition.
· Proven hands-on experience recruiting nurses is mandatory.
· Strong understanding of nursing qualifications, clinical profiles, specialisations and healthcare staffing requirements.
· Experience handling multiple nursing vacancies and maintaining an active candidate pipeline.
· Demonstrated ability to source, screen and close qualified nursing candidates within required timelines.
· Hands-on experience with Naukri, LinkedIn and/or other recruitment platforms and sourcing channels.
· Strong candidate engagement, communication, follow-up and negotiation skills.
· Ability to manage multiple recruitment priorities simultaneously.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate candidate records, documentation and trackers.
· Positive working knowledge of MS Excel, recruitment trackers and databases.
· Target-oriented approach with ownership of recruitment outcomes and turnaround times.
· Candidates without hands-on experience in nurse recruitment will not be considered.
Preferred / Advantageous Experience:
· International healthcare recruitment experience.
· Middle East nurse recruitment experience, especially UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman or Kuwait.
· Experience recruiting specialised nurses such as ICU, Critical Care, Neuro, Rehabilitation, Geriatric, Palliative or Long-Term Care nurses.
· Experience in bulk / volume-based healthcare recruitment.
· Experience working with hospitals, healthcare staffing companies, healthcare groups or healthcare services organisations.
· Existing professional network within the nursing community.
· Experience with passive candidate sourcing and direct outreach.
· Experience supporting documentation, licensing, compliance or mobilisation for international healthcare recruitment.
· Bachelor's degree or relevant professional qualification.
What We Are Looking For:
· Strongly experienced in nurse recruitment and healthcare talent acquisition.
· A proactive talent builder who can develop a long-term nursing candidate pool rather than relying only on current vacancies.
· Comfortable with both volume recruitment and specialised nursing requirements.
· Strong in candidate sourcing, screening and engagement.
· Able to independently manage recruitment assignments from sourcing through closure.
· Commercially aware and able to understand what employers require from healthcare talent.
· Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working with recruitment data and trackers.

· Strong communicator with the ability to build trust with nursing professionals.
