We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in manual and automation testing.

You will contribute to ensuring the quality of features from requirement analysis through release. The role involves designing and executing test cases, developing and maintaining automation scripts, performing API and database testing, and using modern AI-assisted tools to improve testing efficiency.

You will work closely with developers, product managers and other QA engineers in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze requirements and user stories to identify test scenarios, edge cases and potential gaps early in the development cycle
- Design, write and execute test cases for web and/or mobile applications
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration and UI testing
- Develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright or Cypress
- Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools and validate responses, status codes and data
- Use AI-assisted tools to improve test coverage, generate test scenarios and test data, and support automation and defect analysis
- Log, track and prioritize defects in Jira with clear reproduction steps, evidence and severity
- Work closely with developers to verify bug fixes and support root cause analysis for critical or recurring issues
- Perform basic database validation using SQL queries
- Maintain test documentation, including test cases, test plans and test summary reports
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives and release activities
- Contribute to improving QA processes, test coverage and automation practices

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or a related field
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in software testing, including manual and automation testing
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle and common testing techniques




- Hands-on experience with at least one automation tool such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright or Cypress
- Working knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, Python or JavaScript
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, PyTest or Mocha
- Experience with API testing using Postman or a similar tool
- Proficiency with Jira or a similar defect tracking tool
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation
- Basic understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript, along with browser developer tools
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
- Robust analytical skills, attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
- Good written and verbal communication skills for clear defect reporting and cross-functional collaboration

Preferred / Nice To Have

- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot or AI-based testing platforms to support QA activities
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
- Knowledge of automation design patterns such as Page Object Model (POM) or BDD frameworks such as Cucumber
- API automation experience using Rest Assured or similar libraries
- Basic exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6
- Mobile testing experience, including Appium or manual testing on Android/iOS
- Experience with AI-powered testing tools such as Testim, Mabl or Katalon
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification
- Experience working with SaaS or HR-tech products
