We are looking for a proactive and experienced Purchase &
- Procurement professional to manage material procurement, vendor coordination, inventory requirements, and purchase operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with SAP and MDG portals, strong vendor management skills, and the ability to coordinate with planning and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely daily arrangement of Glass, Mesh, GI, and Plastic components.
- Arrange and manage packing materials as per production requirements.
- Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) to vendors.
- Obtain PO approvals through SAP and follow up with vendors for timely material delivery.
- Coordinate with Planning and Production teams to ensure on-time delivery and manage critical orders.
- Manage vendor relationships, development, and performance.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports related to procurement and material management.
- Handle AMC discussions and approval procedures for Compressors, DG, and UPS.
- Maintain and update Material and Vendor Master Data (MDG).
- Support costing activities and procurement cost analysis.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth procurement and project execution.
Qualifications &
- Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in purchase and procurement.
- Hands-on experience with SAP and MDG Portal.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with leadership and team management abilities.
- Hands-on experience in project management.
- Solid coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
