About the Role

APEXWEBSOFT is hiring a Web Developer with 1.5–3 years of hands-on experience in PHP, Laravel, WordPress, Shopify, and MySQL. The ideal candidate should be capable of developing, customising, maintaining, and optimising websites while delivering clean, scalable, and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel.
- Develop and customise WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
- Work on Shopify websites, including theme customisation and modifications.
- Write clean, secure, reusable, and well-documented PHP code.
- Work with MySQL, including database queries, management, and optimisation.

Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise existing websites and web applications.

Build responsive layouts using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.

- Integrate REST APIs and third-party services.

Implement website performance, security, and speed optimisation.

Work with WordPress hooks, filters, Custom Post Types (CPTs), ACF, and WooCommerce.

Analyse project requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions.

Debug and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Collaborate with designers, project managers, and developers to ensure timely project delivery.

Required Skills & Expertise

1.5–3 years of professional experience in web development.

Strong hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel.

- Strong experience in WordPress development, including custom themes and plugins.
- Practical experience with Shopify development and theme customisation.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Experience with WordPress hooks, filters, CPTs, ACF, and WooCommerce.




- Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party services.
- Familiarity with Git / Bitbucket.

Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with attention to detail.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
