Start Date: Immediate / As agreed
Duration: 3–6 months (extendable based on performance)
Stipend: Competitive- based on skills and experience
Reports To: Head of Marketing / Founder The Role
We are looking for a Marketing Intern who is curious, creative, and deeply interested in health. You will work directly with the marketing lead and, at times, with the Founder, to grow awareness of UN:BLOC- across digital channels, content, and community. You will have real ownership of work that goes live, not a project that sits in a drawer.
What You Will Do
Content & Storytelling
- Write and edit content for Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and YouTube - long-form posts, reels scripts, carousels, and captions
- Help craft the brand voice across all channels — grounded in science, human in tone
- Research and simplify complex health topics (root cause medicine, Ayurveda, functional health) into accessible, shareable content
- Assist with newsletters, blog posts, and email campaigns
Social Media & Community
- Manage day-to-day posting schedules and community responses across platforms
- Monitor trends in health, wellness, and longevity content and flag opportunities
- Engage with the UN:BLOC community - followers, patients, and partner accounts - in a way that reflects our values
- Track performance metrics and suggest improvements based on what is working
Campaigns & Growth
- Support the execution of paid and organic growth campaigns
- Help coordinate influencer and creator outreach - identifying the right voices in the health and wellness space
- Assist with event marketing, webinar promotions, and cohort launches
- Contribute ideas to the Founder's Cohort marketing and referral initiatives
Research & Analysis
- Conduct competitor and market research to benchmark UN:BLOC against emerging health-tech brands
- Compile weekly performance reports across channels
- Support with basic data tracking in spreadsheets or marketing tools
Who We Are Looking For
You do not need to have done this before. You need to be someone who is genuinely interested in health, reads widely, writes well, and takes initiative without being asked twice.
Essential
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Life Sciences, or a related field
- Strong written English — you can write clearly, concisely, and with personality
- Comfortable across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube — as a creator, not just a consumer
- Curious about health, medicine, and the intersection of science and wellness
- Organised, self-starting, and comfortable working in a fast-moving, small team
Good to Have
- Basic Canva, Figma, or Adobe skills for creating easy visuals
- Experience running a personal content account or writing a blog
- Familiarity with tools like Notion, HubSpot, Mailchimp, or Meta Business Suite
- Interest in Ayurveda, functional medicine, longevity, or integrative health
- Prior internship in a start-up, healthcare brand, or digital agency
What You Will Learn
- How to market a complex health product to a non-clinical audience without oversimplifying it
- Early-stage brand building - from positioning to content strategy to community
- How founders and small teams move fast, make decisions with limited data, and iterate
- The basics of root-cause medicine and how to translate clinical thinking into content people want to read
- Direct mentorship from a founder and a hands-on marketing team
Why UN:BLOC
Most internships ask you to fill a role. This one asks you to help build something. UN:BLOC is at an early, important stage - the Founder's Cohort is live, the product is being shaped in real time, and the brand voice is still being written. If you want to see your work matter immediately, to work on a problem worth solving, and to learn from people who are building in public - this is that.
