ROLE OVERVIEWLUMEN Li-Fi is seeking a technically robust and research-oriented Lead Research & Li-Fi Production Engineer to lead the R&D;, production, testing, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of Li-Fi products and systems.

The role will manage the Li-Fi product lifecycle from component procurement and prototyping to assembly, testing, quality control and deployment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead Li-Fi kit production, assembly and integration as per technical specifications, drawings and procedures.

- Conduct R&D; and prototyping in Li-Fi / Visible Light Communication (VLC), including transmitters, receivers, optical systems, communication modules and electronics.

- Identify, evaluate and coordinate procurement of electronic, optical, mechanical components, tools and testing equipment.

- Develop and implement functional, electrical, optical, communication, thermal and reliability testing procedures.

- Diagnose hardware, electronics, optical and communication issues and perform root-cause analysis and troubleshooting.

- Plan production, maintain BOMs, inventory and technical records, and ensure timely availability of components.

- Improve production processes to reduce defects, rework, wastage and production time, while improving scalability and reliability.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, test reports, circuit diagrams, specifications and QC procedures.

- Coordinate and supervise engineers, technicians, researchers,



vendors and production activities.

- Support product demonstrations, installations, customer trials, exhibitions and technical presentations.

- Provide regular technical, production and project updates to management.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Communication Engineering, Optical Engineering, Embedded Systems or related field.

- Experience in electronics hardware, communication systems, optical systems, embedded systems, R&D; or product development.

- Hands-on experience in prototyping, testing, troubleshooting and technical documentation.

- Experience in Li-Fi, VLC or Optical Wireless Communication will be an advantage.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT The role involving research/technical work at the LUMEN Li-Fi office/laboratory/production facility in Delhi NCR. Travel to customer sites, project locations, suppliers and exhibitions may be required.
