About The Role: This is a full-time Junior Web Developer role in a hybrid setup, with the primary location in Bengaluru and flexibility for some work from home.

The Junior Web

Developer will assist in building, testing, and maintaining web applications, working with both front-end and back-end components under the guidance of senior developers. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code, implementing web designs, fixing bugs, and supporting integration with APIs and databases. The role involves collaborating with designers and other developers, participating in code reviews, and updating existing features to improve performance and usability.

The Junior Web

Developer will also help document technical specifications and stay current with best practices in modern web development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Website maintenance: Update and maintain existing websites, including content updates, bug fixes, and routine performance checks.
- Landing page development: Build and publish campaign landing pages in coordination with the Social Media Strategist and design team.




- Front-end development: Implement layouts and components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring responsive design across devices.
- CMS management: Manage content and page updates through the website's content management system, primarily WordPress.
- On-page SEO: Apply SEO fundamentals such as meta tags, alt text, and page speed optimisation to recent and existing pages.
- Testing and QA: Test pages across browsers and devices prior to publishing, and troubleshoot reported issues promptly.
- Coordination: Work with the design team to implement graphics and branding elements accurately on web pages.

What We Are Looking For:

- Experience: Up to 2 years of experience in website development or a related front-end role.
- Core skills: Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to implement designs into functional pages.
- CMS experience: Hands-on experience with WordPress or a similar content management system.
- Problem solving: Troubleshoots front-end and CMS issues independently, escalating complex cases appropriately.
- Education: Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Good To Have:

- Frameworks: Exposure to a front-end framework such as React or a page builder such as Elementor.
- Backend exposure: Familiarity with PHP, MySQL, or hosting and domain management.
- SEO tools: Working knowledge of Google Search Console or similar SEO monitoring tools.
