Company Description Studio Paperplanes is a Bangalore-based architecture and design practice founded in 2017 and led by Snehal Panicker. Role Description This is a full-time Junior Architect role based in Bengaluru with a hybrid work arrangement, combining in-studio collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility.

The Junior

Architect will support concept development, schematic design, and detailed architectural drawings for residential, commercial, and interior projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing 2D and 3D drawings, assisting in design presentations, coordinating with consultants, and contributing to material and detail research. The role involves participating in site visits, documenting progress,



and assisting with on-site coordination to ensure design intent is maintained.

The Junior

Architect will also help with basic project documentation, timelines, and internal communication to support smooth project delivery.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and details.
- Familiarity with Integration between design, interiors, and landscape, and coordination with structural and MEP consultants.
- Basic Project Management skills, including task planning, documentation, and time management in a studio setting.
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools; comfort with digital collaboration platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution and eligibility to work in India.
- Strong design sensibility aligned with minimalist and context-driven architecture, with an eye for materiality and detailing.
- Effective communication skills, openness to feedback, and the ability to work collaboratively in a small, design-focused team.
- Prior internship or 0–2 years of professional experience in architecture or interiors is preferred.
