Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Associate role based in Bhagalpur & Patna.

The Junior

Associate will support senior lawyers in drafting pleadings, petitions, written statements, contracts, and legal opinions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting legal research, preparing case briefs, organizing case files, and assisting in hearings and client meetings. The role also involves coordinating with court staff and other stakeholders, maintaining accurate documentation, and helping ensure timely filing and compliance with procedural requirements.



The position offers hands-on training in litigation and advisory work, along with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

- Strong legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret statutes, case law, and regulations.
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, notices, and legal opinions.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including clear, concise legal writing and confident courtroom or client interaction.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple matters, maintain case files, and meet deadlines.
- Skilled ethics, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and firm standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B) from a recognized institution; enrollment with the Bar Council of India or eligibility to enroll.
- Familiarity with court procedures, filing processes, and use of basic legal research tools and software.
