DinerGuru Consultancy is an F&B; business consultancy that helps clients open and operate restaurants and cafés across India, working across café, QSR, and full-service restaurant formats in multiple cities. Our work spans the full lifecycle of a food and beverage business — from feasibility studies and business planning, through on-site launch support, to day-to-day operations management for existing outlets.

On any given month, our team might be running a market feasibility study for a current QSR launch, building out a colour-coded SOP library across kitchen, service, bar and accounts departments, screening candidates for a client's hiring round, or developing a seasonal menu for a café. We work close to the ground — on-site with clients, with vendors, and with the teams we help build — rather than from behind a desk.

The Role

We're looking for a General Business Intern to work closely with our consulting team across live client projects. This is a generalist role by design: you'll get exposure to operations, vendor management, hiring, research and client-facing work rather than sitting in one lane, with most of your time spent out at client sites rather than in an office.

What You'll Do

- Accompany consultants on client site visits across cafés, QSRs and restaurants, and help track action items and follow-ups from each visit
- Support vendor coordination — sourcing quotes, following up on deliveries, and helping maintain our vendor records
- Assist in documenting and updating SOPs across departments such as kitchen, service, bar,



accounts and store management
- Support the hiring process for client and internal roles — sourcing candidates, screening CVs, and coordinating interviews
- Help with business research — feasibility studies, market and demographic research, and competitor benchmarking for recent client projects
- Assist in preparing client proposals, reports and presentations
- Help maintain internal trackers and coordination systems used across projects
- Provide general administrative and coordination support as project needs shift

What We're Looking For

- Currently pursuing, or recently completed, a degree in any discipline — hospitality, business or management backgrounds are a plus but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and comfort speaking with clients, vendors and candidates directly
- Willingness to travel locally for on-site client visits as a regular part of the role
- Organised and detail-oriented, comfortable working with MS Office / Google Workspace
- A self-starter who can manage multiple, fast-moving tasks without close supervision
- Genuine interest in the F&B; and hospitality industry
