A Snapshot of your day The Head of Availability Calculation System is established to provide dedicated leadership, governance, and end-to-end accountability for business-critical products/applications. Operating at the N-4 level, this role ensures operational stability, and strategic alignment with the ART1 operating model to support global service operations. Given the focus on leading high-performing engineering teams and managing complex digital platforms, the ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software engineering or digital product delivery, proven people management capabilities, and deep expertise in agile methodologies and cloud technologies.

Additional Information

- Travel requirements: The role requires occasional international travel to engage with global business and technology leaders, support strategic initiatives, participate in leadership forums, and strengthen collaboration across geographically distributed teams.
- Team size: Approximately 12–15 team members.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- 20% Product Delivery & Business Alignment
- Lead the MyAvailability teams in alignment with the ART1 operating model, Agile Release Train objectives, governance expectations, and business priorities.
- Ensure product backlogs, milestones, reporting needs, and platform priorities are aligned with business stakeholders, Product Management, Product Owners, and Release Train leadership.
- Drive the evolution of availability calculation capabilities, reporting processes, and data flows in line with business needs, digitalization priorities, and future platform strategy.
- Facilitate cross-functional decisions across business, data, architecture, and engineering teams to remove blockers, manage risks, and maintain delivery predictability.

- 20% Operational Excellence & Governance

- Monitor delivery progress, application performance, operational KPIs, and data quality.
- Proactively address deviations from committed timelines, quality standards, service levels, or delivery outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance, cybersecurity, regulatory, risk management, and architectural standards.
- Maintain operational stability and reliability of the applications while driving continuous service improvements.

- 20% People Leadership & Organization Development

- Build and sustain a high-performing engineering culture based on accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Develop people and organizational capability through coaching, performance management, succession planning, hiring, learning initiatives, and talent retention.
- Foster employee engagement, inclusion, well-being,



and career development through Individual Development Plans (IDPs), training programs, mentoring, and regular feedback.
- Ensure adequate resource planning and capability development to meet current and future business needs.

- 20% Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

- Partner with business leaders, Product Owners, Product Management, architects, and Agile Release Train leadership to ensure alignment on priorities and commitments.
- Influence decision-making and build strong relationships across geographically distributed teams and global stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication, transparency, risk reporting, and decision-making across organizational boundaries.

- 10% Strategic Leadership & Transformation

- Contribute to the long-term strategy and roadmap for MyAvailability and related availability calculation solutions.
- Drive modernization, innovation, automation, and digitalization initiatives to improve business value and operational efficiency.
- Support organizational transformation initiatives while ensuring adherence to the ART1 operating model and delivery commitments.
- Challenge and initiate discussions with relevant stakeholders whenever deviations from agreed business priorities, governance principles, or delivery commitments are observed.

- 10% Financial & Resource Accountability

- Manage departmental budgets, operational expenditures, vendor-related costs, and resource allocations within the area of responsibility.
- Ensure effective utilization of people, technology, and financial investments to maximize business value.
- Support business case preparation, capacity planning, and investment decisions related to MyAvailability and associated platforms.

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in software engineering, application management, digital product delivery, or related technology leadership roles.
- At least 5 years of people leadership experience in a technology, engineering, or digital delivery environment.
