The ideal candidate will have experience developing and implementing testing automation frameworks, with strong expertise in both UI and API-based testing automation and automation strategies for unit testing.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage testing efforts for Guidewire ClaimCenter, integrations and forms testing.
- Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers to ensure high standards of quality and performance.
- Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium with Java, Cypress, GT UI and GT API.
- Implement and manage BDD frameworks using Cucumber.




- Develop comprehensive test plans covering functional test design and execution approaches.
- Develop test cases based on business requirements and system specifications.
- Execute test cases and scenarios to ensure thorough testing coverage.
- Conduct functional testing to ensure software meets business requirements and specifications.
- Identify, document and track defects and issues through resolution.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, product managers and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and ensure accurate testing.
- Review team members’ test cases and deliverables and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in P&C; insurance and Guidewire.
- Utilize Agile methodologies to drive efficient testing processes and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Identify and escalate issues and risks and work with project managers and stakeholders toward timely resolution.
- Continuously improve testing processes and strategies to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Guidewire ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and P&C; insurance.
- Track team status and share daily, weekly and monthly status reports with client stakeholders.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in quality engineering and automation testing.
- Proficiency in Playwright, Selenium with Java, Cypress, GT UI, GT API and BDD with Cucumber.




- Robust understanding of functional testing principles and practices.
- Experience in P&C; Insurance, Claims and Guidewire ClaimCenter.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Good To Have

- Experience with other automation tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
