- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting or LCCI (III) accounting qualifications are preferred.
- At least 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in General Accounting, preferably in a group of companies, trading, manufacturing, retail or service business environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger, journal entries, AP/AR, bank reconciliation, accruals, prepayments and financial reporting.
- Positive understanding of Myanmar accounting and tax requirements, statutory documentation and financial compliance procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and accounting software/ERP systems; strong Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools are preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze financial information, identify discrepancies, perform reconciliations and resolve accounting issues accurately.
- Responsible, trustworthy, organized, detail-oriented and able to maintain confidentiality, meet deadlines and work effectively with cross-functional teams under pressure.

Job Specification
- Manage daily accounting transactions, journal entries,



general ledger postings and ensure all financial records are complete and accurate.
- Record and monitor accounts payable and receivable transactions, verify invoices, follow up on outstanding balances and ensure timely payment and collection.
- Perform regular bank, cash, supplier, customer and other balance reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including account adjustments, accruals, prepayments, depreciation and preparation of supporting schedules.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, trial balances, account schedules, and other management reports in accordance with company requirements and reporting deadlines.
- Prepare and maintain tax-related documents, support tax calculations and submissions and ensure accounting records comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain proper financial documentation and filing systems and provide necessary schedules and supporting documents for internal and external audits.
