Job Overview

Growequal Limited is looking for an experienced and result-oriented General Manager / Plant Head to oversee complete plant operations, ensure production efficiency, maintain quality standards, and drive operational excellence across the manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee end-to-end plant operations, including Production, Quality, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Dispatch coordination.
- Plan and monitor production schedules to achieve production targets within defined timelines.
- Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and resources.
- Monitor production performance, productivity, downtime, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with QA/QC to ensure product quality and timely resolution of quality-related issues.
- Work closely with the Stores/Warehouse team for proper material planning, inventory control, and availability of raw and packaging materials.
- Monitor plant maintenance and ensure proper functioning of machinery and equipment.
- Develop and implement systems to improve productivity, cost efficiency, and operational performance.
- Identify operational challenges and take appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage and develop plant manpower, including workforce planning, training, performance monitoring,



and discipline.
- Conduct regular meetings with department heads and monitor departmental KPIs.
- Prepare and review MIS, production reports, plant performance reports, and other management reports.
- Coordinate with senior management regarding production plans, operational issues, manpower requirements, and business priorities.
- Ensure proper implementation and adherence to health, safety, hygiene, and environmental practices within the plant.
- Support audits, inspections, customer visits, and regulatory requirements as required.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across plant operations.

Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in Nutraceutical / Pharmaceutical manufacturing, with significant experience in plant operations.
- Previous experience in a Plant Head / General Manager / Senior Plant Operations role will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, production processes, quality systems, and plant operations.
- Strong leadership, team-management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple departments and achieve operational targets.
- Strong understanding of production planning, manpower management, inventory control, and cost management.

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per month
