Role Overview The Enterprise Wi-Fi Specialist will serve as the lead technical specialist for enterprise and industrial-site wireless networks across the S+ Digital Programme.

The role will be responsible for wireless architecture, RF design, capacity planning, deployment validation, and technical assurance across enterprise, warehouse, and industrial environments, while also contributing to the overall network architecture and product engineering framework.

Key Responsibilities & Technical Skills

- Provide expert-level knowledge of 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz spectrum, including propagation, capacity, interference, channel utilization, and regulatory considerations.
- Design and engineer solutions based on Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E, and Wi-Fi 7, with strong understanding of OFDMA, MU-MIMO, channel planning, client compatibility, roaming, and Multi-Link Operation (MLO), where applicable.
- Capture RF requirements and perform or interpret predictive wireless designs, physical site surveys, and RF survey results.
- Conduct post-deployment validation, coverage and capacity assurance, and remediation for high-density environments and challenging physical environments/materials.
- Design and implement enterprise WLAN architectures, including controller-based and cloud-managed solutions.
- Define appropriate Access Point, antenna, SSID, authentication, policy, segmentation, and secure access designs.




- Design wireless solutions for industrial and warehouse environments, supporting handheld devices, scanners, voice applications, robotics, automated systems, and safety-sensitive operational areas.
- Develop Wi-Fi HLDs, LLDs, Bill of Materials (BOM) inputs, configuration standards, test plans/test packs, and repeatable deployment patterns.
- Support technical validation, troubleshooting, optimization, and operational handover of wireless solutions.
- Work closely with network, security, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure wireless solutions align with overall enterprise architecture and security requirements.

Certifications & Tools

Desirable Experience Includes

- Current skilled wireless design or survey certification.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard wireless planning, design, survey, and assurance tools.
- Relevant certifications such as CWNA, CWDP, CWAP, CWSP or equivalent are desirable.

Experience

- Strong experience in Enterprise Wi-Fi / WLAN architecture and engineering.
- Proven experience with RF design, wireless surveys, capacity planning, troubleshooting, and deployment validation.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise, warehouse, industrial, or high-density wireless environments.
- Strong understanding of modern Wi-Fi technologies, particularly Wi-Fi 6/6E/7.
- Ability to produce high-quality architecture and engineering documentation and provide technical leadership throughout the deployment lifecycle.
