We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Lead Engineer to drive the architecture, development, and scalability of our core technology platform. You will lead the development of high-performance systems powering complex, real-time operations while working closely with product, engineering, and business teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering problems, building scalable distributed systems, and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.

What You'll Do

- Lead the design and development of scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems.
- Own technical architecture and make key engineering decisions across products and platforms.
- Build and optimize systems handling real-time workflows, high transaction volumes, and complex integrations.
- Collaborate closely with product and business teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Drive engineering best practices around code quality, system reliability, security, testing, and observability.
- Mentor and guide engineers through technical challenges, code reviews, and architectural discussions.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and proactively improve system scalability and reliability.
- Take ownership of critical projects from architecture and development through deployment and production support.





Must have 7–10 years of experience in software engineering, with strong experience building production-grade systems. Strong expertise in backend development using languages such as Java, Python, Go, or Node.js. Experience designing scalable, distributed, and high-availability systems. Strong understanding of system design, microservices architecture, APIs, databases, and asynchronous processing.

Experience working with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Strong understanding of databases, caching, messaging systems, and performance optimization. Proven experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers. Ability to remain hands-on with coding while driving architectural and technical decisions.

Good to have

Experience building platforms involving real-time operations, logistics, mobility, e-commerce, or marketplaces.

Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS.

Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and up-to-date CI/CD practices. Exposure to routing, optimization, geospatial systems, or large-scale transaction platforms.

Experience working in a fast-paced startup or high-growth technology environment.
