Role Overview

As a Director – Sales, Syndication (Content Licensing) for Europe or MENA markets, candidate is expected to drive the regional licensing strategy and revenue growth across the regional markets. Right candidate will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing complex, multi-territory content deals. This requires building strategic partnerships with TV networks, streaming platforms, digital publishers, and content aggregators.

Key Responsibilities

- Sales & Business Development: Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of licensing opportunities across markets in the region. Pitch content catalogues, negotiate commercial terms, and close lucrative distribution deals.
- Partner Management: Cultivate trust-based relationships with key buyers, broadcasters, and platform executives across the region.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor the highly dynamic SVOD and AVOD landscape. Anticipate market trends, evaluate regional competitors, and adapt the licensing strategy accordingly.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Legal, Finance,



and Global Content Operations to ensure compliance, accurate contract execution, and smooth content delivery.
- Forecasting & Revenue: Own individual revenue quotas. Manage regional sales forecasting, track pipeline progression, and handle reporting in CRM tools.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: 3-7 years of proven experience in content distribution, IP licensing, or international media sales.
- Language Proficiency: Complete business fluency in English and the regional language (written and oral) is preferred.
- Network: Deep industry connections and an established network of buyers among major OTT platforms, cable operators, and broadcasters in the regional markets.
- Skills: Solid negotiation and contract-drafting skills. Understanding of regional regulations, copyright laws, and rights management.
- Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
