The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) is an essential department in CMR University. It is dedicated to student welfare programs in the university. It also supports and enhances the overall student experience in the university. The OSA works directly under the supervision of the VC. It has the following duties and responsibilities.

- To provide various forms of support to students, including academic advising, counselling services, and resources for personal and emotional well-being. OSA may also assist students with navigating academic and administrative processes.
- To create a vibrant campus life by organizing events, clubs, and activities that encourage student involvement and foster a sense of community. These may include social events, cultural celebrations, leadership development programs, and sports activities.
- To be responsible for enforcing and upholding the university’s code of conduct and disciplinary policies. OSA addresses violations of rules and regulations and may facilitate conduct hearings or sanctions as necessary.
- To organize orientation programs for new students to help them acclimate to campus life, understand academic requirements, and connect with their peers. They provide support for transfer students and assist with the transition from one academic level to another.
- To oversee residential life, including housing assignments, resident assistants,



and ensuring a positive and safe living environment.
- To provide or coordinate access to healthcare services, including medical clinics or wellness programs, to support students’ physical health.
- To assists student-run organizations by providing resources, guidance, and funding opportunities. The OSA may also offer leadership development programs to help students develop essential skills.
- To work towards promoting diversity and inclusion on campus, ensuring that all students feel welcomed and supported regardless of their backgrounds.
- To manage and respond to crises or emergencies affecting students, such as natural disasters or mental health emergencies or any such situations that needs attention.

To promote the student exchange programs through national and international exchange programs for students through the OIR.

- To identify and select the international/national MoU signing opportunities which can benefit the students.
- To supervise and carryout other works related to student welfare to be assigned by the Vice-Chancellor.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.22 - ₹2,100,000.47 per year
