Role Description This is a full-time, in office Dermatologist Cosmetologist role based in Chennai. The role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of dermatological conditions, performing cosmetic and aesthetic procedures, and creating individualized treatment plans for patients. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations, reviewing medical histories, prescribing medications or therapies, and performing laser treatments, chemical peels, and other minimally invasive procedures.

The professional will also provide pre- and post-procedure counseling, maintain accurate medical records, ensure adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards, and collaborate with clinic staff to deliver a positive patient experience.



Participation in case discussions, continuous education, and adherence to ethical medical practice are key aspects of this role.

Qualifications

- Relevant medical qualifications such as MBBS with MD/DNB in Dermatology or equivalent recognized specialization.
- Proficiency in clinical dermatology, including diagnosis and management of common and complex skin and hair conditions.
- Experience or training in cosmetic dermatology, including laser procedures, chemical peels, injectables, and other aesthetic treatments.
- Strong patient communication and counseling skills, with the ability to explain procedures, risks, and aftercare clearly.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, infection control, and adherence to medical ethics and regulatory standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinic environment and manage a consistent patient load.
- Comfort with using electronic medical records and basic digital tools for documentation and patient follow-up.
- Prior experience in a skin and hair clinic or cosmetic practice is an advantage; willingness to participate in ongoing training and skill enhancement.
