Location: Dehradun / Delhi NCR / Bengaluru / Mumbai
Experience: 2-5 Years
Key responsibilities:
This is a revenue-owning, hunter-first role for someone who thrives on building pipeline, pitching hard, and closing partnerships - measured on numbers, not just relationships. You'll be SankalpTaru's front-line driver of corporate CSR/ESG funding, personally responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting corporate partners into signed, funded commitments. Every partnership you close plants trees, restores land, and puts income back into farmers' hands - so the work you're selling is one people genuinely want to say yes to.
If you enjoy cold outreach, pipeline discipline, and closing deals in a fast-moving, purpose-led setting, this role is built for you.
1.
Corporate Partnership
Development (Primary Focus)
- Own and grow a pipeline with defined targets: prospecting, qualifying, and converting corporate leads across priority sectors (BFSI, IT/ITES, manufacturing, FMCG, etc.)
- Run end-to-end BD cycles - cold outreach, discovery calls, concept notes, budgeting, impact projections, negotiation, and closing
- Be accountable for conversion rate and value of signed partnerships against quarterly/annual targets
- Craft sector-specific pitches that position SankalpTaru's afforestation and rural livelihood programs against corporate ESG/CSR mandates (BRSR, GRI, SDG alignment)
- Track pipeline health (stage, value, probability) using CRM/pipeline tools
2.
Partner Relationship
Management & Account Growth
- Act as primary relationship owner for signed corporate accounts
- Drive account expansion - upsell, renewal, multi-year commitments - not just one-time grants
- Keep partners engaged through field visits and updates that show them, tangibly, where their money went
3. Strategy & Market Growth
- Spot emerging CSR/ESG opportunities and shape them into fundable, on-ground program concepts
- Feed sector intelligence back into SankalpTaru's partnership strategy
- Support leadership in expanding the partnerships book across geographies and sectors
4. Reporting & Impact Communication
- Ensure impact narratives meet CSR compliance and global ESG framework requirements
- Turn field data into partner-facing stories that support renewal and referral
Qualifications
- Bachelor's required; Master's in Management, Sustainability, or Development Studies preferred
- 2-5 years in corporate partnerships, B2B sales, or business development - candidates without a sales/BD track record should not apply
- Demonstrable record of hitting or exceeding partnership/revenue targets
- Strong grasp of CSR regulations, ESG frameworks, and India's sustainability funding landscape
- Sharp proposal writing, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills
- Comfortable with pipeline metrics and being measured on outcomes
- A genuine pull toward environmental and rural development work - this sells better when it's felt, not performed
