ABOUT VANTROCK

Vantrock is an operator-led real assets platform. Headquartered in Mumbai, it originates, develops, operates and manages institutional-grade real assets on one balance sheet and with one team, from land to lease to long-term ownership. Logistics, warehousing, plotted and industrial is the first strategy, not the identity.

Suburban office campuses, strata offices, data centres and senior living follow, each as its own strategy, sequenced on delivery. Real assets only, across every class the platform grows into, in sequence.

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS The founder's day generates far more than it converts. Meetings that were never minuted, decisions that were never registered, questions that needed an answer by evening and got one three days later.

This seat converts. Meetings into memos and action registers. Questions into research. Half-formed arguments into first drafts. It is the throughput seat in the founder's office, and it is built for someone who wants to learn how a business is actually run by sitting inside the room where it is run.

REPORTING

Reports to the Founder & CEO. Works alongside the AI Engineer in the founder's office, who builds the system this seat runs on.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

– Run the pre-read. Every meeting the founder walks into has a one page brief in front of him, prepared the night before. – Own the action register. Capture every commitment made in every room, chase it, close it.

Nothing dies quietly. – Produce research on demand. Markets, counterparties, sectors, regulation, people. Turned around in hours, not weeks, and accurate enough to act on. – Draft. Notes, memos, letters, board material and the raw material for articles published under the founder's name, handed to brand and communications to finish. – Keep the founder's office filed and current,



inside the system the AI Engineer builds, and say loudly where that system breaks. – Attend meetings the founder cannot, and represent what happened accurately rather than flatteringly.

WHAT WE NEED

– 5 years or more in consulting, investment banking, a founder's office, or a strategy or product seat at a startup. – An MBA in Finance. – You have taught yourself AI over time, and it shows in how you work. You use AI tools every day and can show what you have done with them. Not "familiar with ChatGPT". – You vibe-code.

You build your own small tools, automations and prototypes with AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Replit or Lovable, and you can show us one you still use. You learned this on your own, because you wanted to, not because a course required it. – You write well, quick and clean. This is the single most tested skill in the seat. – You are comfortable being the most junior person in a senior room, and comfortable telling the founder he is wrong in it. – Mumbai, on site, long days.

PREFERRED

– Exposure to real estate, infrastructure or financial services – Hindi – You have built or run something of your own, however small

HOW WE ASSESS

– A supervised AI Proficiency Test. Mandatory for every seat at Vantrock, no exceptions by seniority. – A 90 minute live exercise, screen shared, on a real slice of the founder's week. Unstructured material in, a brief and an action register out.



– A paid three day sprint inside the actual working week before any offer is made. You should use it to decide about us as seriously as we use it to decide about you.

STANDING REQUIREMENTS

AI proficiency is a standing requirement in every seat at Vantrock. You use AI tools daily as force multipliers, and you judge their output rather than forwarding it. This is tested for every appointment through a supervised assessment. There are no exceptions by seniority.

Partner command is the second standing requirement. Vantrock runs on outsourced partners, so every person here must be able to scope, brief, hold to an SLA, score and commercially discipline a partner, and must know what should never be delegated.

THE HOURS, SAID PLAINLY The founder works 12 to 16 hours a day. Not everyone wants that, and we do not pretend otherwise. What we will not do is waste it. The seat carries a stated arc: roughly 24 months in the founder's office, then a line seat in the business on performance, in investments, capital formation, projects or the technology business.

COMPENSATION PHILOSOPHY

Vantrock benchmarks compensation against the upper quartile for the role and market, weighted toward equity for candidates who want to build with us long-term. We discuss specific numbers in the first conversation rather than anchoring either side prematurely.

CULTURAL FIT

We're building Vantrock over a decade, not a funding cycle. We're looking for people who treat technology as the default answer rather than a supplement, who want to be co-builders of the platform rather than employees executing instructions, and who are comfortable saying "I don't know" and "I was wrong." If you want a defined role with defined edges, this isn't the right seat. If you want to help build an institution from zero, it might be.
