Role Description The Career Counselor role at aiHustle is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru.

The Career

Counselor will guide learners and professionals through career exploration, goal setting, and planning aligned with AIHustle’s training and hiring pathways. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, facilitating group workshops, assessing career interests and skills, and developing individualized career development plans. The role involves collaborating with training teams and hiring partners, tracking participant progress, and providing ongoing support to help individuals transition into AI and technology-focused roles.

Counselor will also contribute to program improvement by gathering feedback and recommending enhancements to career services and resources.

Qualifications

- Solid Career Counseling and Student Counseling skills, with experience guiding diverse learners through educational and career decisions.
- Ability to support Career Development and Career Management, including planning career pathways and helping individuals navigate job transitions.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to conduct counseling sessions, workshops, and presentations effectively.
- Familiarity with or interest in AI, technology, and finance domains, and the ability to translate industry trends into practical career advice.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, Human Resources, or a related field; relevant certifications in counseling or career services are an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build trust with learners, clients, and partners.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, with comfort using digital tools and platforms to track progress and manage information.
