We are seeking an experienced Cache Developer to develop, maintain, and optimize applications built on InterSystems Cache/IRIS technologies. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer with strong programming, database, integration, and problem-solving skills, along with experience supporting healthcare or enterprise application environments. The developer will also contribute to SIS India’s ongoing use of AI-enabled tools and capabilities within the Cache/IRIS development lifecycle, helping identify opportunities to improve code quality, streamline troubleshooting, enhance documentation, and support data-driven application improvements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using InterSystems Cache/IRIS, MUMPS, and Cache ObjectScript.
- Design, build, and support RESTful APIs, Web APIs, and system integrations that connect enterprise and healthcare applications.
- Support backend development using C# and .NET technologies.
- Optimize database performance, queries, application workflows, and production processes for scalability, reliability, and speed.
- Apply AI-enabled development tools and IRIS-related capabilities, where appropriate, to improve code analysis, troubleshooting,



testing support, documentation quality, and data-driven application enhancements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Troubleshoot application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide production support as needed.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, release activities, and ongoing quality improvements.
- Ensure applications meet established security, performance, scalability, and maintainability standards.
- Prepare, update, and maintain clear technical documentation for application functionality, integrations, support processes, and development changes.

EDUCATION: BE/B.Tech or any graduate degree.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Strong hands-on experience with InterSystems Cache/IRIS.
- Expertise in MUMPS programming and Cache ObjectScript.
- Strong experience with C# and .NET technologies.
- Experience developing and consuming Web APIs and REST APIs.
- Good understanding of SQL, database concepts, query optimization, and application performance tuning.
- Experience with system integrations and enterprise application environments.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled development practices, machine learning concepts, or data-driven application capabilities within InterSystems IRIS or related enterprise platforms is preferred.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Mentor other team members by sharing technical knowledge, supporting best practices, and helping strengthen application development, troubleshooting, and support capabilities across the team.
