TCS Hiring for Banking Solutions Architect

Experience Range: - 10 To 15 Years (Mandatory)

(Note: Candidates below 10 years of IT experience shall not be considered)

JOB LOCATION: Anywhere in India

Role Overview:

We are looking for experienced/ expert level solution architects, ideally with deep experience in Finance & Risk business and systems, one for each of the below areas:

- Treasury - Liquidity, Collateral and Treasury
- Finance - Accounting, Performance, Forecasting, Taxation, Control, Procurement, Cost and Pensions Management
- Risk Models - Asset Liability and Capital Management
- Regulatory Reporting – Financial and Regulatory Reporting Management

Mandatory requirements:

Candidates must meet all of the following:

1) Finance & Risk Domain Expertise

- Design and govern end‑to‑end solutions to translate Finance & Risk business requirements into robust, scalable solution architectures aligned with long‑term architecture strategy
- Act as a trusted architecture partner to Finance, Risk, Operations, Architecture and Technology stakeholders
- Experience in designing or reviewing solutions for implementing mergers & acquisitions would be an advantage

2) Solution Architecture and Design

- Significant experience as a Solution Architect, ideally within complex financial services environments
- Ability to produce clear functional architecture, design logical components and define interactions between systems, whilst delivering decommissioning and archival initiatives
- Experience balancing business outcomes with long term architecture strategies
- Experience in working with engineering teams to align technical designs with the published architecture.
- Peer review designs produced by other team members, ensuring architectural integrity and compliance with standards.
- Experience in creating practical, workable architectures that can be aligned to IT principles/standards,



whilst following the bank’s architecture governance processes.

3) Leadership & Ways of Working

- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Practical and delivery focused mindset
- Able to operate independently in a quick-moving environment
- Evidence of thought leadership, ownership and initiative

Desirable (not mandatory):

These are beneficial, but should not exclude otherwise robust candidates:

- Knowledge of BIAN, TOGAF, ArchiMate or C4.
- Experience with Avolution Abacus or similar architecture tools.
- Familiarity with microservices, API integration patterns and cloud concepts such as AWS.
- Exposure to global banking environments or large-scale transformations.
