What You'll Do

- Build, maintain, and scale backend services using Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Design and develop robust REST APIs and integrations with internal and external services.
- Work with databases to build efficient, scalable, and reliable data systems.
- Collaborate closely with frontend, product, and engineering teams to ship features end-to-end.
- Debug production issues and improve application performance and reliability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Take ownership of features and contribute ideas beyond assigned tasks.

Must have 1–2 years of professional software engineering experience.



Strong hands-on experience with Node.js (mandatory). Good understanding of JavaScript and/or TypeScript. Experience building and consuming REST APIs. Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or similar.

Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases. Understanding of asynchronous programming, API architecture, and backend fundamentals. Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development workflows. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Good to have

Experience with TypeScript. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Experience with microservices or distributed systems. Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with Redis, queues, messaging systems, or event-driven architectures. Exposure to third-party API integrations. Startup or high-growth product company experience. Basic understanding of system design and scalable backend architecture.
