Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring timely and accurate tax and regulatory compliance. The role will also involve coordinating with internal teams and external partners, supporting audits,



and providing data-backed insights to help leadership make informed business decisions.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in core accounting activities, including bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and financial statement preparation.
- Knowledge of taxation, statutory compliance, and audit support within the Indian regulatory workplace.
- Comfort with accounting software and spreadsheets; ability to work with data, run financial reports, and perform variance analysis.
- Attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
