REQUIREMENT FOR SQUAD LEAD

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage an Agile squad to ensure effective delivery of business and technical objectives.
- Establish and promote Agile team practices across the squad.
- Build and maintain a high-performing, collaborative, and empowered team.
- Coach and mentor team members to improve technical, professional, and Agile capabilities.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Support the Product Owner and team in maintaining a clear and prioritized backlog.
- Remove impediments and ensure the team remains focused on sprint and product goals.
- Monitor team performance, delivery progress, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Encourage ownership, accountability, collaboration, and effective decision-making within the squad.
- Identify team development needs and create opportunities for knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Provide regular feedback and support individual team members in their career development.
- Promote psychological safety, open communication, and a positive team culture.
- Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to manage dependencies and delivery risks.




- Identify and resolve team-level challenges and escalate critical issues when required.
- Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives, Agile metrics, and feedback mechanisms.
- Support capacity planning, resource management, and workload distribution.
- Ensure alignment between squad objectives, product priorities, and organizational goals.

Who Can Apply?

- Candidates with 8+ years of overall skilled experience.
- Strong hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Proven experience leading or managing Agile teams/squads.
- Experience building and managing high-performing teams.
- Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities.
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and implementing Agile practices.
- Strong team management, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience managing stakeholder expectations and cross-functional dependencies.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery, continuous improvement, and team performance management.

Good to Have

- Scrum Master / Agile Coach experience.
- CSM, PSM, SAFe, or other Agile certifications.
- Experience managing distributed or geographically diverse teams.
- Experience with Agile metrics and dashboards.
- Jira/Confluence or similar Agile tools.
- Experience in Agile transformation initiatives.
- Experience handling multiple squads or large-scale Agile programs.
- Strong stakeholder and leadership management experience.

Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
