Key Requirements
Strong hands-on Oracle DBA experience in production environments
Experience with Oracle 12c and/or 19c
Production Oracle database patching
Backup, recovery, restore, and environment refresh experience
Oracle performance troubleshooting and tuning
Capacity management, tablespaces, disk utilization, and database health
Solid PL/SQL development experience
Ability to troubleshoot complex and legacy database schemas
Experience developing safe production data-fix/corrective scripts
Experience reviewing SQL/PL/SQL scripts before production deployment
Production release and emergency hotfix deployment experience
Strong production incident troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
Experience working in regulated financial services or similarly controlled enterprise environments
Strong change-control and release-management discipline
Cloud database experience; Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) strongly preferred
AWS or Azure database experience will also be considered
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lead production issue discussions and coordinate with vendors and technical teams
Ability to work independently across U.S. and India time zones
Regular experience using AI development/productivity tools as part of daily technical work
