KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Product Testing & Validation
a. Coordinate product validation, life testing, safety testing and environmental testing.
b. Ensure compliance with applicable BIS, IS standards, regulatory and product- safety requirements.
c. Maintain technical specifications, test reports and quality documentation.
d. Coordinate with external laboratories for certification and compliance testing.
e. Own the end-to-end quality and testing of assigned products, from product development and validation through market launch and post-launch improvement.

2. Quality Improvement
a. Identify recurring product-quality issues and develop corrective actions.
b. Convert customer complaints into actionable product improvement requirements.
c. Implement quality systems and standardization across products and processes.
d. Establish monthly failure-rate and defect dashboards.

3. Supplier Coordination
a. Work directly with suppliers on quality issues.
b. Conduct inspection of every production lot at the supplier end before dispatch
to ensure compliance with approved product specifications and quality standards.

Ensure quality improvements are implemented at the supplier end.
d. Maintain inspection records and monitor supplier quality trends to identify recurring issues.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATION:
Quality Assurance: Experience in quality control, product testing, and compliance with industry standards
New Product Development: Proficiency in overseeing current product development projects and implementation
Project Management: Skills in coordinating with cross-functional teams and managing timelines
Detail-Oriented: Ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Relevant Experience: Experience in the small appliances, consumer durable or manufacturing industry will be preferred
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
Experience: 7-10 years of relevant work experience.
