Role & responsibilities
Lead and manage the design department and drawing office
Oversee design and development of custom-built rotating and liquid mixing equipment
Take ownership of end-to-end design activities
Guide and mentor the design team
Coordinate with production, projects, and sales teams for design deliverables
Handle technical interactions with clients and consultants (pre-order discussions & post-order execution support)
Ensure design quality, timelines, and compliance with requirements
Review enquiry documents and purchase specifications
Select appropriate models and estimate materials
Prepare design calculations and General Arrangement Drawings (GAD)
Review vendor documents and fabrication drawings
Prepare offers and resolve technical queries

Preferred candidate profile
Degree: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Solid background in design engineering for rotating equipment
15+ years of overall experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
