Key Responsibilities:
Handle procurement of foundry raw materials, consumables, spares and other foundry-related items.
Develop and manage vendors for foundry materials such as ferro alloys, inoculants, refractories, sand, binders, electrodes, grinding wheels, welding consumables and other consumables.
Float enquiries, evaluate quotations, negotiate price, quality, delivery and payment terms.
Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery as per production requirements.
Coordinate with Foundry, Stores, Quality, Production and Finance teams for material requirements and vendor payments.
Monitor market rates, vendor performance and procurement costs.
Ensure proper documentation and adherence to company purchase procedures.
