In this role person is expected to manage home and PCG claims portfolio from intimation till settlement, system development, Audit / process improvement, claim approval, grievance redressal etc.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Management of claims Registration to settlement of claims in a judicious way and as per policy terms
Review of claims recommended by team and approve claims falling within financial authority
Coordinate with surveyors, subject matter experts, investigators, audit team etc.
Empanel surveyors and other vendors as required in management of claims
To ensure adherence to all predefined processes and TATs for claims processing and comply with IRDAI regulations
Close interaction with policyholders, brokers, surveyors, etc.
To prepare MIS for management
Liaise with various internal and external stake holders for process design, process streamline, system development etc.
Review and audit closed files.
Risk inspection for current proposals under Private Client Group & Home Claims.
Any other task as assigned by Reporting Manager
Meeting with Client, handling their grievances.
Regular review of existing claim process / system and suggest process improvement.
Co-ordinate with IT team for necessary system development and resolve any IT issue faced by team
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Post graduate with min. 5-year experience in Insurance background.
MBA in Insurance / Insurance qualification from recognized institute equivalent to AIII.
PREFFERED SKILLS
Prior experience in commercial claims handling claims of Fire, theft, breakdown and Misc. LOB
Familiarity with claim process and policy wordings
Problem solving skills,
