Job Description – Assistant Store Manager

Reporting To: Store Manager

Role Purpose

Support the Store Manager in managing inventory, material receipts, storage, issuance, documentation, and stock reconciliation to ensure smooth project execution and material availability.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing construction materials.
Maintain GRNs, stock registers, material issue records, and inventory reports.
Issue materials against approved Material Requisition Slips (MRS).
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation.
Monitor stock levels and highlight replenishment requirements.
Coordinate with Procurement, Projects, and Accounts teams for material tracking and documentation.
Ensure proper storage, housekeeping, and preservation of materials.
Support audits by maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Report material shortages, damages, excesses,



and discrepancies to the Store Manager.

Qualification & Experience
Graduate/Diploma in Commerce, Supply Chain, Material Management, or related discipline.
2–5 years of experience in store operations, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or real estate projects.

Compensation: As per company standards and candidate experience.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
