Role Overview

As part of METRO's Global Solution Center, India, you provide operational, analytical and coordination support across METRO's digital marketing activities, working closely with local market marketing teams, category management, e-commerce, CRM and content stakeholders. This role supports end-to-end digital marketing execution by enabling campaign delivery, content and asset management, channel operations, reporting and performance monitoring across web, app, email and digital channels. Operating within established marketing processes, governance frameworks and service delivery standards, the Digital Marketing Expert contributes to continuous improvement, data quality and consistent execution, working closely with Marketing Team to support digital marketing performance across METRO countries.

Key Responsibilities

Operational:
Execute digital marketing campaigns across web, app, email and digital catalog channels for weekly offers, seasonal activities and general campaigns
Upload graphical content, assets and campaign materials into content management and marketing platforms
Configure digital content parameters – duration, placement, target groups and store assignments – in line with campaign briefings.
Set up,



test and launch push notifications, newsletters and other customer communications.
Maintain website content and landing pages, including publishing, unpublishing, redirects and structured data updates
Build and configure digital and agile catalogs, including layout, product hotspots, metadata and audience settings.
Manage content input from Category Management, Sales, Own Brand, Marketing and external agencies to secure complete and accurate campaign content
Support in delivering email marketing from newsletter creation, content integration, A/B testing

Continuous improvement:
Identify prospects to streamline digital marketing execution
Standardize templates, content structures and operational procedures
Safeguard data quality, tagging and taxonomy across digital marketing platform

Collaboration:
Partner with local marketing teams, Category Management, Customer Insights and CRM to enable campaign execution
Work closely with external agencies and freelancers on timely delivery of digital marketing content
Facilitate alignment on campaign inputs, timelines and content requirements
