Qualification

B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Tech. in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry or related fields.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day QA & QC activities at the Navi Mumbai facility.
Inspect raw materials, packaging materials, imported/frozen food products and finished goods.
Monitor product quality, hygiene, temperature and cold-chain conditions.
Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, GHP and FSMS standards.
Conduct product sampling and coordinate with external laboratories for testing.
Maintain COA, quality reports, inspection records and product specifications.
Handle NCR, CAPA, root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
Investigate and support closure of customer and product quality complaints.
Conduct regular warehouse, hygiene and food-safety inspections.
Maintain and update SOPs, checklists and QA/QC documentation.
Support internal, customer and third-party audits.




Coordinate with Warehouse, Supply Chain, Procurement and Operations teams.
Conduct training on food safety, hygiene and quality procedures.

Candidate Requirements
3–6 years of relevant QA/QC experience, preferably in the food/FMCG industry.
Experience in Frozen Food, Dairy, Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Processed Food or Cold Chain will be preferred.
Solid working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GHP, FSSAI and FSMS.
Hands-on experience in quality inspection, sampling, documentation and CAPA.
Valuable analytical, communication and coordination skills.
Knowledge of MS Office/ERP will be an advantage.
