Job Summary

We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen team in preparing meals and maintaining a clean, organized, and hygienic work environment. The ideal candidate should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen and assist with food preparation, cleaning, and stocking.

Key Responsibilities
Assist chefs with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
Clean and sanitise kitchen workstations, floors, and storage areas.
Receive, organize, and store food supplies and ingredients.
Ensure proper food handling and hygiene standards are maintained.
Dispose of kitchen waste safely and keep the kitchen tidy.
Refill kitchen supplies and notify supervisors when stock is low.
Assist with serving meals when required.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.




Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.

Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work in a quick-paced environment.
Valuable teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in restaurants, hotels, hostels, hospitals, industrial kitchens, or cafeterias.
Food Handler Certificate (preferred but not mandatory).
Salary:

₹8,000–₹12,000 per month (depending on experience)
